Back from Melbourne & Perth: A Journey of Art and Growth

Returning from my recent trip to Melbourne and Perth with my big brother Nhat Be. I’m feeling inspired and grateful for the opportunity, the people I met, and the art I created along the way. Tattooing in these two vibrant Australian cities was a fantastic opportunity to grow as an artist and connect with other talented individuals in the industry.

Melbourne: Sanctum Tattoo

In Melbourne, I had the privilege of working at Sanctum Tattoo, an exceptional studio run by the legendary Kozik. Sanctum Tattoo is known for its strong artistic vibe and attention to detail, making it a perfect place to create meaningful tattoos.

The clients I worked with were incredible, bringing unique ideas and a willingness to collaborate on custom pieces. Melbourne’s tattoo culture is dynamic and welcoming, and Sanctum felt like the epicenter of it all. Kozik and the team made me feel right at home, and their dedication to the craft was both inspiring and motivating.

Perth: Kurikara Fudo

Next, I headed west to Perth, where I worked at Kurikara Fudo Tattoo, run by the highly respected Dan Molloy. The studio is renowned for its focus on bold and timeless tattoo styles, and it was an honor to tattoo alongside such talented artists.

The vibe at Kurikara Fudo was laid-back but professional, with an emphasis on quality and precision. The clients in Perth brought a different energy—many were seasoned collectors who trusted me to create striking designs that stood out in their collections. Dan Molloy’s leadership and passion for tattooing were evident in every aspect of the studio, and it was a privilege to learn from and work alongside him.

Everyone other artist that we meet was so welcoming at the shop, Pete was making jokes all days long, Lauren Melina and Courtney gave us bunch traveling tips and bringing the vibes to the shop all day, not to mention Esteban and Dyllans calm energy that really set the mood! Such a amazing crew to be working along with.

Back in Ho Chi Minh City

Now that I’m back in Ho Chi Minh City, I’m bringing the energy and inspiration from my trip into my work here. Traveling to Melbourne and Perth reminded me of the universal language of tattooing and how it connects people from different places and cultures.

I’m excited to take what I’ve learned and create even more bold, vibrant, and meaningful tattoos for my clients. Whether you’re a local or a traveler visiting Vietnam, let’s work together to create something extraordinary.
